Camden Climate Action Plan
Following our Citizens' Assembly on the Climate Crisis last year, we are pleased to announce the launch of Camden's new Climate Action Plan.
Built on the recommendations agreed at the Assembly, this plan sets out how we will address the climate crisis in Camden. Our ambition it to continue to work alongside residents, businesses, schools and our voluntary sector organisations to make Camden a zero-carbon borough by 2030.
You can read the plan here: https://www.camden.gov.uk/climate-crisis

Camden Climate Action Plan – Consultation Open
Following our fantastic Citizens’ Assembly on the Climate Crisis last year, Camden has recently published its new 5-year Climate Action plan for consultation. The plan responds to the 17 recommendations from the assembly, feedback of our residents, and outlines a programme of projects and activities to help us towards a zero carbon Camden.

On Monday 1st July, we held session 1 of our Citizen's Assembly. In this first session our Assembly members heard about the science of climate change from Professor Mark Maslin (UCL) and about Current CO2 emissions in Camden and what might be able to be achieved by 2030 from Chris Dunham (Carbon Descent).
You can see all the presentations here with videos of the speakers to come shortly https://www.camden.gov.uk/climate-crisis
All ideas shared on Commonplace will be presented to the Assembly in the third session so there is still time to add your ideas!
